Breastfeeding, Formula Feeding and/or Pumping Support

Whichever way you decide to give your infant the nourishment they need, I support you! Mothers need to not only do what is best for their babies, but also what is best for them!  I am certified in Doula Breastfeeding Support and can assist with nursing and latching techniques as well as pumping and formula feeding questions.

Overnight Stays and Help with Sleep Training

The first three months potpartum are essential for healing your body. Without rest and self care, healing can not take place and more serious conditions can arise. Overnight services can be useful for sleep training in the technique you feel comfortable with, caring and bottle feeding child during the night, or delivering the baby to Mother for nocturnal breastfeeding.

Routine Infant Care

As first time parents, everything needed to learn about infant care can be overwhelming! Postpartum doulas are equipped to teach and supervise infant baths, recognizing crying triggers, swaddling, diaper changes, nutrition for mother and baby, infant sleeping positions, and more.

Sibling or Pet Care

For the times where you need to rest and bond with your new infant, caring for others adds an extra element of unnecesary anxiety. Using your parenting philosophies, I am able to provide healthy activities, diaper changes, meal prep, etc for your older toddlers/children and/or pets.

Postpartum Depression/Anxiety and Emotional Support

Light Housework, Laundry, Errands, or Meal Prep

Physical support is equally important as emotional support. A clean and beautified space promotes a happy atmosphere. Dishes, laundry, cleaning and cooking are all things that a postpartum doula are prepared to do with your guidence.

Companionship to Midwife or Physician Appointments

Those appointments after delivery can be tiresome and overwhelming.  Before the appointment we can discuss what you would like to speak to your medical professional about and what questions you would like addressed. With the support of a postpartum doula, an extra pair of hands come in handy during appointments and for carrying carseats and other essential items along with infant care when necessary.
